FAQs

Common questions

Free 1:1 counselling
Is 65 points enough?

65 is the minimum to lodge an EOI. In practice, invitation cut-offs are often higher and depend on your occupation and the state.

What is the difference between 189, 190 and 491?

189 is a permanent visa with no nomination. 190 is permanent and needs state nomination (+5 points). 491 is a regional provisional visa with nomination (+15 points) and a path to PR.

Do I need a job offer?

No. Points-tested skilled visas don't need a job offer.

What if I am 45 or older?

You must be under 45 when invited for these visas. Other routes, such as employer sponsorship, may still be possible.

Can my family come with me?

Yes. Your partner and dependent children can be included in your application.

What does your service cost?

Government and assessment fees are paid separately. Every fee, inclusion and refund term is written into your service agreement before you pay.
