Privacy Policy
Last updated: 31 October 2026
This policy explains how AIM Abroad (“AIM Abroad”, “we”, “us”) handles personal data collected through this website, in line with India's Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023 (DPDP Act).
What we collect
- Details you give us in our forms: name, mobile number, email address, city, qualification, work experience and the program you are interested in.
- How you reached us: the page you used, campaign tags (UTM parameters) and the referring website.
- Technical data: your browser type, and a one-way, keyed hash of your IP address that we use only to prevent spam. We do not store your IP address itself.
Why we use it
- To respond to your enquiry, assess your eligibility and offer counselling.
- To contact you by call, WhatsApp, SMS or email about the programs you asked about, with your consent.
- To protect our website and forms from fraud and abuse.
- To meet legal, tax and regulatory obligations.
Your consent
We process your data on the basis of the consent you give when you submit a form. You can withdraw consent at any time by writing to us; we will then stop contacting you and delete or anonymise your data unless the law requires us to keep it.
Who we share it with
We do not sell your personal data. We share it only with service providers who help us run our business (such as hosting, database and communication tools) under confidentiality obligations, and, once you enrol and only with your consent, with employers, language schools, assessment bodies or authorities as your application requires. We may disclose data where the law requires it.
How long we keep it
We keep enquiry data only for as long as needed to serve you, and delete or anonymise it on request unless the law requires us to keep it.
Security
Data is encrypted in transit, stored with an access-controlled database provider, and visible only to staff who need it to serve you.
Your rights
Under the DPDP Act you may ask for a summary of your data, correct or update it, have it erased, withdraw consent, nominate another person to exercise your rights, and raise a grievance with us.
Cookies and local storage
This site uses no advertising cookies. Your browser stores your light or dark theme choice, and how you arrived on the site for the duration of your visit, so we can attribute your enquiry correctly.
Children
Our services are meant for adults. We do not knowingly collect data from anyone under 18 without a parent's or guardian's consent.
Contact and grievances
Contact us through the details on this website with any privacy request. We respond within the time limits set by law. If you are not satisfied, you may approach the Data Protection Board of India.
